Make room

11:00

Use me God!!!
One of the prayers often prayed by Christians young and old alike.
I mean, who wouldn't want to be used by God?
Who wouldn't want God to manifest His excellence in and through them?
Well, often, we have an idea, a box, a sphere of possibilities in which we EXPECT God to work through us. We often crave for the seemingly 'big' things and ignore the smaller ones.

In the story of the 'Good Samaritan' we see that this guy was on his own trip but he paused to attend to someone. It was something that looked like a distraction.
When Peter and John were on their way to pray, they stopped to attend to the guy at the gate. They could have been like the priest and the levite in the other story who were in a hurry to get to 'church'

Very often, we confuse activity with actually serving God. We claim to do be doing all of these things for God yet we find it difficult to make room for Him to work through us in our day to day life. Sometimes, God will want to interrupt our normal schedule, He may want to redirect our steps.
Yet, we 'some-knowing' give no room for the 'all-knowing'.

Peter and John had to attend that prayer meeting a little late because they were at a place of service and at the end, more people were added to the church.

Do you make room for God to work in and through your life?
Would you allow Him interrupt your schedule?

Remember, great opportunities are sometimes wrapped in small packages.

Side note: Peter and John only went 'late' because they were ministering to some other guy, so, if you're not ministering to people, you shouldn't be late.

Have a great week and make room for God this week!
God bless you.
