I have been making a couple of decisions lately and the truth is that decision making isn't my strong point at the moment. It is one of those muscles that I have just started using. 

First off, let me apologize for being MIA for over a week. I have a legit reason for not blogging last week, I was at a 'school'. This week, on the other hand, has just been quite a struggle with a measure of laziness.

I laid in my bed with the my whole blog post in my head yet it was extremely difficult to translate them via my fingers. Going back and forth in my head, 'I should probably just take another week off', 'I can write this later', 'Let's just sleep'.

The thing is that this blog is mine and my decision to either write something or nah makes little or no difference. I could decide to quit blogging at any time, really. However, my decision to blog is mostly to discipline me. 

It's easy to just quit when no one is looking. However, if you are only faithful when everyone else is watching. It is no more than eye-service and your faithfulness isn't faithfulness at all.

So, it may be quite difficult to keep up as the holidays are coming to an end, yet I hope to be faithful to myself, to you and to be the best I can.

Hello there!!!!!! What's up! Happy New Month.
I know that it is late but well, I think it still counts. Hehe
If we're paddies on FACEBOOK, you probably knew I was going to write on this, if not, what are you waiting for? Oya join the fam!

Time to get serious.
Looking back can be one hell of a scary experience. Lot's wife has a story to tell about that.

She can be loving and all smiley (wait how do you spell smile-ly), huge snob, friendly, talkative, quiet, weird, collected, depending on where you know her from, how you met her, when you met with her and ummmm 'other' factors.

Lately, I was beginning to think that I was getting a hang of who she was but well, not really. The other day she went all motivational on me and she began to show me things, whisper thoughts, create pictures and draw images of things we could accomplish.

Next, she came off with her, lets-do-nothing ideas and the lets-just-lie-in-bed is a huge classic of mine.
Well, the one that has become hugely accepted of late is the lets-just-stare-at-the-computer-all-day. Dang! That one is a killer. I mean, it just wraps its fingers around you and really don't have to do anything much to keep going. All you need is a warm blanket, a continuous supply of food and drink and trust me you are good to go.

She is me and I am her but sometimes she does not know her.
Dear Lord! What am I saying?
She and her are mixed as one to create the perfect me. And, though she's both fun and not, and her time is 'perfectly' managed, she and her make a great team.

Honestly, she can be a little confusing sometimes and I'm still trying to get her to introduce herself to me.
I like to believe that I'm  pretty much not alone in this and just in case, you've got 'someone' like her that you're still trying to grasp, I wish you success in your journey.

Why do people go around cutting onions?
I was on my own "jejedly" listening to music and I decided to listen to "Storyteller" by Morgan Harper Nicholas then slowly but steadily my eyes began to water.


The video shows people who do not have the 'perfect' life but from the midst of their storms and imperfections, they have become testimonies.
Life may not always seem perfect, things may not always go as you want but you can create the best out of it.
I don't know what you're going through or how life may look right now but let me just speak 'it is well' into your life.

"Oh the mountain where I climbed
The valley where I fell
You were there all along
That's the story I'll tell
You brought the pieces together
Made me this storyteller
Now I know it is well, it is well
That's the story I tell"

What's your story? Be a storyteller. Your story, your testimony, will encourage someone going through tough times.

Don't forget '..today belongs to YOU'

It's pretty easy to imagine about a whole lot of stuff. It's easy to make wishes and dream dreams. Truth be told, the most easy part of achieving a goal is writing it down. Everyone who has pursued an ambition knows that its more easy to talk about it than to actually live it out. I don't believe that this has happened to just me but I know how much I need to talk to myself after making all the plans. The pep talks like, 'you're an amazing woman, you can do this , the world is waiting for you, someone needs what you have' and all the rest. I know how much I really need to convince myself before I finally begin pursing my dreams and working at my goals. I know that I'm not the only one on this team, even the greatest of achievers need some sort of encouragement. Before I begin to focus so much on that, I want to share with you what I had discovered not too long ago.

" As difficult as it is to start, it is even much more difficult to finish".

When I found this out, I was like, why on earth should I start in the first place if it's going to be so hard to finish. Truth is, the discovery wasn't encouraging. Everyone, errrrm at the least most people want easy lives, I do too. Nobody wants their life to be so full of labour, no one wants to live life stressed out. Everybody wants the best out of life but if we are all completely honest, we want to just skip from the work part to the part where we begin to get the rewards. Ask the lady who's trying to shed some weight, she most likely doesn't enjoy working out, she just wants to be slimmer already.
